May 17: Math Adventure Registration Open

Calling all Bennett Secret Agents! On May 17, report to headquarters for details of your next mission. A spy satellite has fallen to earth, and our agency needs to recover the parts. Your task is to solve math puzzles coded with clues that might solve this mission. Activate your team here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/secretagent

Math Adventure is a theater+math PTSA event that promotes the thrill of collaborative problem-solving in a friendly, non-competitive environment. Registration is open to all Bennett students.

A huge thank you to Viki Lawton for planning and bringing this event, again this year, to our school. If you would like to join this committee, please contact us!

2018 PTSA Awards | Call for Nominations

It's time to recognize our amazing volunteers and teachers for their outstanding service! The PTSA is soliciting nominations for the Golden Acorn Award, PTSA Volunteer of the Year, and Educator of the Year. Winners will be announced at the PTSA Volunteer Tea (June).

🔶 PTSA Golden Acorn Award is offered by the Washington State PTA for recognition of a volunteer who has given outstanding service to students at Bennett, as well as youth in our community. It is intended to recognize volunteer service "above and beyond" a particular job description.

🔶 The Bennett PTSA Volunteer of the Year Award is designed to recognize and celebrate an outstanding volunteer, whose efforts this year have made a difference in the lives of Bennett students.

🔶 Bennett PTSA Educator of the Year Award is designed to recognize and celebrate an outstanding educator at Bennett Elementary, whose efforts this year have truly made a difference in the lives of Bennett students.

Please take a moment to nominate an educator and volunteers whom you feel meets these qualifications by filling out a nomination form available in the school office or on the PTSA website and returning it to the office by the end of the school day on April 26, 2019. Thank you!
